Frequently Asked Questions

How long should I keep my plant in this bag?

The plant should stay with the special potting mix for up to one year (or beyond) while the baby plant roots & grows. Repot when roots are pushing against the sides of the inner, flexible grow pot.

The plant bag outfit (outer custom paper bag) can stay on as long as you like! The bags are sold separately so you can change your plant's outfit whenever the mood strikes! The inner grow pots are sized to fit all bag outfits. Just pull it out of the bag outfit *make sure you have the drip sleeve underneath* and drop it into a new outfit!

How often should I water my new plant?

Each plant has specific watering needs. Small, young plants only need a small amount of water poured carefully on top of the soil not soaking the outer plant bag outfit. Adding a little more water is easy, removing water is difficult. Root rot is a common killer of small plants.

Refer to the plant care section above for more in depth care tips.

When will I get my order?

Most local pick-up orders (at Batch Coffee locations) will arrive ready for pick up TWO DAYS after the order is place.

Please write in seller notes (in your cart) which Batch location you prefer. Please also indicate if you need your plant on a specific date.

Shipping orders will be packed and shipped out through usps or ups within two business days. Delivery will take place based upon your shipping zone.

Where do you get your plants?

We mostly order from local nurseries, but at times order from small, independently owned nurseries out of state when local supplies are scarce.

Are your plants the ones we see at Batch Coffee?

Yes! Most of the plants at Batch Coffee were added and are currenlty maintained by Stem Style NY!
